  • Our Course Material Coordinators are often asked when is the best time to order textbooks for each term? The earlier the date the better for students. Adopting early saves students money.

    Some dates as a guideline are:
    Sept Classes*: order NOW
    Jan Classes*: order by Oct 31/09
    May Classes*: order by March 31/10

    1. When is the best time to get books for my program?
      ASAP - ensure you get one and there are "rush" periods. As soon as you know, you can order online or order online for pick-up. Or you can come into the store and get what you need. There are staff that can help!

    2. Why aren't my books listed?
      If you don't see your course listed here then we are yet to receive the required and optional reading book lists from your Professor/Faculty. Please contact them directly to find out what textbooks you will need for your courses. They can order here.

    3. What do I do if I need help?
      There’s an information desk in store or you can call (416) 640-5840 for more information. During peak times, there may be a long wait. You can also email

    4. Are used textbooks available online?
      If we have used textbooks they are listed online as well.

    5. When can I sell my textbooks back? Do you take all textbooks back?
      We pay up to 50% of the new book price for used textbooks all year. We take the books back where there is demand. You can check the buyback section to see how much your textbooks are worth.
