About Us

The U of T Bookstore is proud to be the official bookstore for the University of Toronto community. As the retail division of the University of Toronto Press, a not-for-profit organization serving the university since 1901, we play a vital role in campus life.

Beyond books and academic essentials, the U of T Bookstore is an integral part of the university experience, offering university-branded apparel, gifts, and merchandise. We have also been an official bookseller for events across campus and throughout Toronto.

Event Space Rental – Great Hall

The U of T Bookstore is more than a retail space—it's a cultural hub where ideas are exchanged, and connections are fostered. Our Great Hall is a breathtaking venue featuring high vaulted ceilings, intricate woodwork, and tall glass windows that fill the space with natural light. Its historical charm and warm ambiance make it the perfect setting for book launches, workshops, concerts, and private events.

Event Pop Up or Activation

Looking to bring the U of T Bookstore experience to your event? We offer pop-ups and activations at conferences, department events, orientation weeks, alumni gatherings, and more! Whether it's a book sale, faculty-branded merchandise, or varsity gear, we provide a tailored selection of products and a dedicated team to support your event.
