Textbook Buyback Information

How does the pay-out work?

• Payout from selling approved textbooks will be made on your debit card or UofT gift card. The physical debit card must be provided at the time of the transaction.
• We cannot apply the payout to a credit card or provide cash – debit card or U ofT gift card only.

What condition does my book have to be if I want to sell it?

• In order for us to buy your eligible textbook back, it must be in good used condition. We will refuse to buy your textbook if it has any damage such as water damage, torn or missing pages, split binding, excessive wear and tear, excessive highlighting and excessive note-taking.
• If the original book included an access code for digital content, this must still be current, not redeemed or expired.
• The U of T rep reserves the right to make the final approval on the purchase of a used book.
